Ooh La Lace (By Guest Blogger Megan Fussell)

Looking for a way to feel feminine and flirty? Thank goodness for all the lace this season!

Lace dresses, like the one shown on the left from Dish, are a must-try for summer. The taupe stripe lends this dress a fresh perspective. Wearing light-colored lace is also a great way to highlight your tan summer. The ivory lace dress from Dish (far right) pops against model Anna Lee’s skin. Add some colorful bangles or earrings, and you’re all set to make a statement.

Lace doesn’t have to be dressy.  Pair lace heels (bottom middle) from Dish with a cream blouse (top middle) and skinnies--perfect for a date night or night out with your friends.

Lace is incredibly versatile. Dish’s lace shorts (middle middle - a staple in any wardrobe) can be dressed up with a bright blazer for day or paired with a navy top and gold accessories for evening.

Expand your wardrobe and indulge your sweet side with some feminine, lacy pieces from Dish.  Be sure to check out my blog, Monograms and Pearls!

Color Blocking (by Guest Blogger Megan Fussell)

Warm weather is approaching, and color is everywhere: outside, on the runways, and in stores! Mixing and matching bright hues (also known as color blocking) is one of my favorite trends this season. Color blocking is reminiscent of abstract art from the 1930's. Just like abstract art, color blocking offers limitless possibilities for interpretation.

How to do it? Mix and match your current wardrobe with new pieces to create totally original ensembles. Pair these cute orange pants from Social with your favorite white shirt and colorful necklace for a fresh spring outfit!

OR, let Social do the color-blocking for you.  These cute tops and dresses nail the trend, no mixing or matching required.
